Hats off to Brotherly Love

Today was one of those days that was tiring and wears on you fast.  Kevin and I got a good amount of work done, and I feel somewhat satisfied with our accomplishments, but our moods were never lifted by the excitement of something great.  In addition, I see many daunting tasks on the horizon, that I am hoping I can make go away.  All the worries of the day start to combine and create stress. 

I'm stressed, but I don't have a lot of things due at this very moment in time, so I was talking to Ryan, in Kentucky.  We talked for a little less than an hour and a half.  What an encouraging experience!  We discussed struggles, caught up, and just had a good time.  He was an amazing encouragement to me.  At the end, we prayed for each other.  My mind was far from wanting to pray a heartfelt prayer after such an exhausting day, but for some reason, the things I said were the most sincere things I have said in a while.  I really didn't want to stop praying either; it was a great time of a united friendship coming before the Lord and worshipping Him.  Praise God for allowing us to worship Him, for saving us, and for giving us a desire to pursue holiness and love him more.  That makes today a good day.

Presentations

It will become obvious at around 10:15 tomorrow morning that either I am a mastermind at getting things done at the last minute or that I never prepared for my presentations.  After printing a few wiki articles, I am calling it a night and switching to my greater passion - creating marketing material.  I love designing the next postcard, brochure, sticker, or magnet.  So - see you later schoolwork - I'm doing really work today. 

Today was a really great day.  I love taking Sundays to just contemplate, live in the country, and pretend that the real world doesn't exist.  It was definitely one of those days.  Thank God.  I'm looking forward to some great lunch meetings and times with people.  I pray that I would love the Lord more this week, and work hard for His glory.  This week will be fun, but tough.  Until next time.
